25 Days of Delight

The time is now! I’m off on annual leave for thee-and-a-half weeks, lovers! Mr. Sparkles and I are heading around the world to celebrate a milestone birthday of his later this month. It is quite potentially a trip of a lifetime. We will start with six theatre and fabric-filled days in New York City, then jump aboard the Queen Mary 2 cruise liner for a seven-night trans-Atlantic crossing to London. We are talking high teas, formal nights, and champagne bars! Not a moment to spare in London though, as we immediately depart for Lisbon! (I hear this is where Madonna is living these days.) So after five days of us queens dining together, and soaking up all the Eurovision after-parties, we hightail it to Madrid. Seven nights there of bronzed Spanish men feeding us grapes and pouring us wine, how could we ever return? I’m not sure either! That’s 25 days of delight!
