The Honey Pot Bee – Red Carpet Finishes
If you’ve seen a smattering of my posts on Instagram lately (molli_sparkles), you would have noticed I’ve been finishing up my blocks for The Honey Pot Bee. For those new around here, The Honey Pot Bee was 2017’s main event, the red carpet affair of all affairs, the Met Gala of the quilting season, dah-lings. The Glitterati, the paparazzi and The Madonna were all in attendance. Yes, The. So take a moment to scroll down through the most fabulous of creations. The Restylane will pump it up, while the Botox will smooth it out. These ladies are showing me up with their finishes, so give them all a standing-O with a round of finger-snaps.

If you like some of the quilt blocks here you can find links to all of them from The Honey Pot Bee drop down menu on the desktop website’s main menu bar. Or you can join the Facebook group to see the progress each person has made throughout the year. As more quilt blocks get turned into quilt tops I’ll be sure to share them here, including my own! Get ready for the camera flashes!

Awesome. It makes me want to finish mine. I ran out of steam due to a lot going on in the personal life last year. Love the one with the bee theme!
Wander…ful! There are so many variations to roam through! Thank you!

What a great variation in the way folks assembled their blocks into amazing tops! I did not make every block but made quite a few multiples of several, thinking to use them as fillers. My Honey Pot quilt top is my OMG for May and I will post as I go on IG. @susansquiltstudio
Wow!! I am stunned! I admit, I saved some blocks but not all. Haven’t sew any because I did not believe I could make a quilt look good with them, but holy smokes look at these!! These quilters really know how to take a random bunch of blocks and make them cohesive.
Sooo much gorgeousness!! I am yet to finish mine oops!
