Sunday Stash #200 – Party Time!
Sunday Stash #200. Can you even believe it? It has been four years of magically curating these wonderful fabric moments. It all started when I participated in Sunday Stash for the first time on 22 September, 2012 when it was being run by Fiona at Finding Fifth. Then on 05 January, 2014, Fiona passed the reigns to me, and I’ve been sharing my goodies ever since! There have been small notional acquisitions to giant suitcases full of fabric, and they’ve all brought me the same amount of joy! I hope you’ve enjoyed one week or all two hundred, and been inspired by some of the new, common, old and unusual showcased here.
To kick off the celebrations, I’m happy to announce a new Sunday Stash blog button! It took inspiration from glitter, the double-S, the dichotomy of pink and blue, and of course, champagne. There’s a new working button code in the sidebar so that you can now use this on all your own Sunday Stash link ups. Plus, a new feature: a Sunday Stash hashtag for linking up on Instagram! Use #SSwithMS (Sunday Stash with Molli Sparkles) when you want to show off new and old fabrics alike!
What better way to celebrate this occasion than to help you grow your stash! I’ve brought together some old and new friends that have participated in my Sunday Stash journey. They’re from around the world, and they’re all here to offer some amazing prizes for you! In the words of Kylie, “What do I have to do?” to win some of this madness?! Simples.
- Comment on this post with anything you want to say, but include your country so I know which prizes you’re eligible for.
- If you link up this week, leave another comment saying so, and you get another chance.
- If you use the hashtag #SSwithMS on Instagram you get another chance!
So what can you win?!
Mystery Quilter – Shimmer Scrap Pack 1m+ (International) – The Mystery Quilter is based in New Zealand, produces patterns, and is hosting a Triangle QAL beginning in January. Y’all know my love of Jennifer Sampou’s Shimmer, so this scrap pack is like a little piece of me!
Fluffy Sheep Quilting – 5 Fat Quarter bundle of Small Talk (Europe) – Sunday Stash wouldn’t be the same without a visit to the other side of the planet! So I couldn’t celebrate Sunday Stash #200 without getting Cindy involved! I requested these prints as a prize for all you low volume fans out there!
Fabric Please! – Molli Sparkles Curated FQ Bundle (North America) – Well, and this is my latest curated bundle! Rita from Fabric Please! has been trying to tie me down (ow!) for ages, and we finally caught each other in sync. You’ll be seeing more of this bundle, as I’m currently working on my own little project with these bits of Tula, Joel, and Zandra pattern paradise!
Intrepid Thread – 24 Fat Quarter Bundle (USA) – This list wouldn’t be complete with out Julie of Intrepid Thread. I think it’s safe to say that that three-quarters of my stash comes from her California shop, and she’s been a huge supporter from the very beginning. She put together this giant bundle inspired by my coat of many colours!
A final thank you to all of those who have been with me on this incredible journey. Thank you also to the amazingly generous sponsors above. Glitterati, please make sure you show these people some love with your patronage, as they keep our art and craft world moving forward. I’ll announce winners during next week’s Sunday Stash, and will be back with my own latest acquisitions (which I promise are many, many, many!)
Contest is now closed.

Hi it’s Wendy from New Zealand. Every time I buy more than 3 FQs I think of you.
I’ve managed to link up after multiple work arounds. I’m away from home on a strange computer and can’t remember all my passwords, but I’ve made it. I had to make the effort due to all the fabulous prizes on offer. Thank you for organising all this.
What a great offer thanks for sharing! I’m in the Uk and enjoy your site very much
Molli, congratulations on 200 Sunday Stash posts. You are one of the major reasons my pocketbook is lighter than it should be – some of the fabric you posted inspired me to edge out of my comfort zone and purchase Glimmer fabrics – bought fat quarters of them all and regularly pat them until I come up with the right pattern. I love your sense of humour. From Canada (Halifax to be precise).
I always love reading your blog. (from Canada, eh!)
What amazing fabrics! I’m a relatively new quilter and follower of your blog and always look forward to the Sunday posts. Thanks for all the inspiration! Reading in New Hampshire, USA
