Sunday Stash #169 – Travelling Sunday Stash #04
First of all, Mardi Gras is over and I’m still alive! The rumours you heard of my demise in a sea of glitter were completely untrue. Yes, there’s still a little bit behind my ears, but this week I’m back to my old self. I’m still on holiday as I’ve got a European visitor staying in my sewing room, and his suitcase has literally exploded in front of my sewing machine. Despite that, I’ve spent some time hand sewing some bindings to keep my small toe in the game. I do feel at odds not cramming every spare minute with a sewing related activity, but I know once I come back around to some sewing normalcy, I’ll be ecstatic to get everything done. If you need a greater Molli-fix, check out my latest article in Textile Fibre Forum magazine, where I talk about explaining your craftiness to an un-crafty world.
For now, Sunday Stash is jetting off to Canada to visit Jenn at A Quarter Inch from the Edge. She’s a long time member of the Glitterati and I know she’s going to make all of you feel right at home! Make sure you head to her house to link up as I know she’s got a great prize on offer. Meanwhile, in less than a week, Mr. Sparkles and I will be flying over the Pacific to spend two weeks in San Francisco. He’s even acquiesced to a day trip to Intrepid Thread; as they say, “bless his heart!” He may not know what he’s in for, but I know I’ll be getting the goodies!
