WiP Wednesday #08 – Madrona Binding

I’m finally finishing up my second quilt by getting the binding ready to go. Have ya’ll realized what a great binding the Madrona Road Herringbone fabric would make? This quilt is a surprise, so I can’t show too much, but I’ll let this picture tease your titties off! I’m now thinking I should buy some of it in the blue colour way!

I look forward to seeing that binding. It will be a very interesting element in the quilt. Great choice.

I love how that will be going in two different directions on the binding! VERY cool movement!

I think you might be right about that fabric in the binding.

Yes! Excellent binding. I'm very particular with what prints I use as binding.

  5. I saw some of the blue colourway locally here in 1/2m cuts and was sorely tempted, but I like the pink one best and I don't __need__ more "just coz" fabric right now. This will definitely make a great binding!!

PS – how can I subscribe to your blog? I keep trying to find a way and can't.

  6. Looking forward to seeing this one finished Josh, lovely idea for the binding!
