Welcomed Back a Winner

After coming back home to Sydney from a four month holiday–with little focus on quilting–I did wonder I how I would break the ice! Well, it seems the best way to do that is to go to a quilt show! The next best thing? Go to a quilt show and discover you’re a winner, baby! That’s right, my quilt, Rainbow Mountains won a first prize ribbon and an additional judge’s commendation ribbon. Fabulous, darlings! This has got me right in the mood to fondle some fabric and put the needle on it. If you’re in the neighbourhood this weekend, check out the QuiltNSW Exhibition show at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney. With over 400 quilts to explore, you’ll definitely leave with a creative hop in your step!
