Selling Juki – One of Us Must Go
The time has come. It’s time to sell my Juki. (Let the penny drop!)
Okay, let me clarify. My TL-98P ain’t goin’ nowhere. If the house were on fire, he’d be the first thing I’d grab. We’ve done too many shots together for me to ever consider letting him go. There aren’t enough dollar bills in the world, y’all. Okay, so now that you understand my love is unconditional, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Literally.
Granddaddy Juki is over there sitting disassembled at the side of the room. I’m talking about the TL-2200 QVP. Granddaddy, God bless him, I love him, I really do, but he’s just too big for the space I’ve got as my sewing studio. One of us has got to go, and gurl, it ain’t gonna be me. This was a prime piece of swag that I was given as part of my Juki sponsorship deal. However, now that that gig is up (another story for another time involving lots of wine) I am free to let Granddaddy go.
The sad news for me is that I only ever quilted one quilt with him (above). The great news for you interested folk, is that he’s virtually brand new. If I had a larger room, or an off-site studio, or a job that allowed me more time to nurture these creative challenges, I would definitely keep him. However, as it is, I’ve only got three-square-metres, an inner city apartment and a job that’s going to keep me time poor for the foreseeable future. I’d rather see him getting oiled up by one of you lovelies, than hanging out with the dust bunnies at my house. (Mr. Sparkles would argue there are no dust bunnies in our apartment, but I digress).
So if you’re interested, let’s start a conversation on how this QVP-2200 can become part of your quilting future. Everything you need is included:
-
- TL-2200QVP machine head
- Bobbins
- Grace frame (5′ and 10′ extension setup)
- Fabric leaders
- T-pins
- Practice fabric
I can’t say I have a whole lot of experience with frames, but I have taken this one up and down a few times with relative ease. It’s a two person job. You can see Mr. Sparkles in the photo above kicking back after he helped me assemble the 10′ version of the frame in the living room. As much as I would love my overseas readers to offer up their home to Granddaddy, he’s interested in staying local, and is for Sydney pickup only. If you’re in the market for a long arm quilting machine, this is an amazing opportunity to get one in near pristine condition for a bargain price. I’ll even sign it for you if that’s your thang! Please leave me a comment, or email me directly to discuss!

Oh you Tease! I think you need to move to Tassie first, then I’ll buy it.
Dust bunnies on that gleaming floor ????? Where ???? You keep the machine, I’ll take the floor š
Truthfully, I wish I lived closer. I would buy it in a heart beat, especially if it came with your signature š Hugs
Such a gorgeous hunk – sorry I was referring to the Juki. I wish I lived less than a 20 hour flight away cuz I would take it.
That Quilt topper though !
