Sunday Stash #215 – Black & White 2 Giveaway
Y’all know I love me some Jennifer Sampou! Shimmer: Say no more. Right? Well, she’s recently released Black & White 2, a twenty-six piece collection of subtlety and drama. Jennifer really understands tonal value in her fabrics, which as a designer myself, is extremely appreciated. It’s this value of light and dark situated across the range that brings an intoxicating depth of possibilities. Jennifer sent some of this new collection my way, and I want to share it will all of you! Consider this her gift to me to you.
There will be two prize pools, with each winner scoring seven fat quarters. The first winner will be randomly drawn from those that link up to Sunday Stash this week. You don’t even have to comment, I’ll just close my eyes and point at the screen. The second prize pool is for all my Honey Pot Bee members. (Holla!) So if you’ve made a block as part of The Honey Pot Bee just leave a comment and let me know. If you haven’t joined in yet, now’s definitely a good week to start!
I will be asking you to send me picture proof of your block, so no cheating! Not that I would expect anyone around here to do that, but I really just want to see the beautiful things y’all are creating. Speaking of creating, as I’m typing this, I’m sitting here getting all inspired by these last four dark pieces. I want to collage them with something really bold and bright, like a Kona Wasabi splattered throughout. Okay, help!, someone needs to win these quick smart otherwise I’m gonna have another work-in-progress on my hands!
As always, this giveaway is open internationally, and winners will be announced at next week’s Sunday Stash. Good luck! Finally, a giant sparkly hug and two air kisses to Jennifer for her constant support and sponsoring this giveaway. MMMWAH!

What a great sew along this is, Thanks Molli Sparkles for organising this, some of those fabrics you are giving away would be perfect as my background for the blocks 🙂

This is my first quilting group fairly new to quilting. I love it so far and learning lots of new stuff and enjoy seeing others creativity.
Hi I am working on honey bee blocks rights now . I have been desperate to try them. In A quilting bee and the January’s whirligigs did my head in for a while. Have finish Febs block now on to playing with the honey bee pot blocks. Love the fat quarters.
Oooh nice ! I’ve only made the strawberry block. Haven’t tried using black and whites yet !
I’m having so much fun with the Honey Pot Bee, it’s nice to step out of your comfort zone and do something new… there was a quilt waiting for all my leftover fabric after all.
Ooh I think I’ve found a new love to complement my text fabrics! Loving this range by Jennifer. <3
Blissfully counting down the days until March's Honey Bee blocks are released! Awesome Bee Molli xo

Am loving this Bee. Can’t wait to finish and put all the blocks together.
I’m still getting up my nerve to try this month’s blocks, but I loved January’s.
No progress yet on the Honey Pot Bee–life has intervened and interrupted quilting!–but have at least saved the January block and have good intentions. Love the B&W fabrics!
Wow, what a stunning bundle! The blocks have been so much fun so far, looking forward to more! I think my favourite so far is the starflower block and I’m pretty sure I’ll be making more of those….
Lovely idea.
Always in for a surprise.
Hope this is secure.
Thanks Mollie
I’m loving the Honey Pot Bee and have made all January and February blocks, between making 5 Aussie Hero quilts and laundry bags!
Oh yes, your plan for the B&W bundle sounds great! The HPB has been a blast so far, I
Only have my yellow Strawberry left to make..
Love these B&W prints! I’m enjoying sewing along with the Honey Pot Bee. I’ve made both of January’s blocks and have February’s next on my to-do list.
I’m loving the Honey Pot Bee, still need to make my 2nd February block. Awesome way to meet other quilters. Great organising Molli Sparkles
Love the Honey Pot Bee, Molli!! It’s great fun. Thank you very much! Oh, my stash is lacking in B&W…
The whimsical blocks and use of color are what drew me to your BOM. I am having fun and that is what quilting should be about!
Thank you Molli Sparkles! I have made the January blocks… working on February… love the black and white’s of Jennifer’s collection. Happy sewing !
Hi Molli! What a great fabric collection! I have made the blocks: star, strawberry, trees and of course honey pot filled with Cretan honey + some marmelade jars. I love this bee and I’m so looking for the next blocks! x Teje
January’s HPB blocks already done, looking forward to making February’s blocks soon – already have fabric pulled for Star Kisses. 🙂
Totally enjoying the blocks, but love seeing everybody’s individual takes on each even more. Thanks!
A win would be great! PS I’m playing along with #thehoneypotbee So much fun! Star Kisses block on the needle as we speak!
Oh Molli, those fabrics…I’m not sure how you can give them away. I’ve told you that I love you, and this kind of behavior just reinforces the feeling. Mr Sparkles is a blessed man. Thank you from all of us. Xox oh yes, I hope to finish my quilt top of January and February Honey Bee blocks today.
I was a little late to the party but I loved learning to make the strawberry block. As a new quilter I don’t have much for a stash.
I haven’t done this months blocks yet, but I have done the strawberry and trees! Nice fabric!
Had great fun making January’s Honey Bee blocks and posting on FB. Busy with February’s this weekend. Don’t have much monochrome in my stash so would be a welcome addition should I win! Many thanks Molli for co-ordinating all this – you’ve certainly created a world wide buzz for the Honey Bee blocks!!
Molli, what a fun surprise to add to an already SWELL event. I am enjoying the blocks, learning new techniques, and the comraderie. Thanks for organizing this fun time!,
Wow, great fabric giveaway! Thanks! I’m up to date on the Honey Pot Bee January and February blocks. I was just about to post my Star Kisses on the FB page.
Hola Molli! Planning to make my star kisses block today. Thanks so much for histing this Bee!
I’ve been sewing along with the honey pot bee since December and having so much fun with it! Can’t wait to put all my blocks together into one big quilt! Thank you!
I’ve made all 4 of the Jan-Feb honeypot bee blocks, turned the strawberry one into a doll quilt and have my sewing themed fabrics star kisses ones turned into a 6-block quilt for my studio. All posted on my IG, a Susansquiltstudio and at #honeypotbee. Love Sampou designs and colors too, too!
I would love to win as I mainly use donated fabric for selling crafts in aid of our local library. Using something new would be fantastic!
Black is definitely in limited supply in my small but growing stash so this would be a good win for me. I’ve completed 3 of the 4 honey bee blocks so far. Planning to get to the 4th this week. Thanks
I made 3 blocks!
Love ❤️ this fabric.
I have completed January Honey pot bee blocks and onto February
I too love her designs. Also, even your fat quarters are perfect and neat…I like that.
have my January Honey Pot Bee blocks finished and am gathering fabrics for this month. The jar block is so cute. Thanks for this sew along.
So excited about theHoney Pot Bee. This give away got me to complete my first block. I did the tree blocks, so fun.
I made January’s blocks – two stars and two strawberries, one large and one small. Haven’t done Feb. yet – finishing up on my “Moda be my neighbor” quilt, then getting ready for Savanah.
Just when I have decided my stash needs these kind of fabrics! Lucky me, maybe?
I’m enjoying the Honey Pot bee! So far the super-sized strawberry is my favorite one.
I love the huge strawberry and trying to catch up. Love these fabrics too!
I’ve made some tree blocks and some Quilter’s pantry. (oops almost said Quilter’s panty!) Love these black and whites, although I’d have to throw some red in there!
Such an awesome giveaway! One of many reasons I’m glad I’m sewing along!
What a great giveaway, I love following your blog!!!
Thank you Molli Sparkles! Can’t wait to see what the rest of February brings forth!
These look beautiful already! I (goldeneyes79) just joined your blog and made one of the blocks for #thehoneypotbee. So much fun seeing what everyone come sup with! Thank you for sharing the fabric love! ❤️
Loving the Honeypotbee! I’ve been making blocks and getting help and loving all the diff versions!
I am in the Honey Pot Bee! I’ve loaded my January and Wild Card blocks onto Instagram, but I haven’t yet made February’s…maybe this afternoon! I’ve bought some of Jennifer’s black and white fabrics with the feathers on (probably the first B&W one) and it is FABULOUS. I can see teal or even light aqua with those darks you mention…YUM!
I might have to start a Sunday Stash post series! I’m loving the HPB, too!
As I’m new at all this, I’ve not got much of a ‘stash’ of materials.
The Honey Pot Bee was the FIRST EVER quilting group I’ve joined, and I did the star. Just loved it. The directions were so clear and exact.
Thank you Molli Sparkles.
This black and white fabric is awesome…are you sure you want to give it?
I have made four Honey Pot Bee blocks, so far. I’m still deciding what to put in the pantry jar. I’m thinking maybe some bonus pinwheels! Thanks to you and Jennifer for the opportunity!
i am in the honey pot bee loving the classic block and the novelty one too.
Beautiful fabric, thankd
I’m one of your Honey Pot Bee worker bees, and I’ve made quite a few blocks so are, and looking forward to making more, and putting together a couple of quilts along the way. I’ve gotten a little obsessed with the pantry blocks, but will get to that star kisses block next weekend to join the strawberry, starflower and tree blocks that I’ve got under my belt (sewing machine foot?) now.
I’ve made my January blocks for The Honey Pot Bee, posted on Facebook and Instagram. I have my fabrics for the pantry jar chosen and half of the star kisses fabrics chosen…just have to sit down and get sewing!
I love this line too!
It’s lovely to see such a diverse range of fabrics and interpretations of the blocks each month – thanks Molli
I must get on to my February blocks. I am enjoying seeing what everyone has in their jars.
Love your Honey Bee Pot sew along! I’ve completed all the blocks using blueberry park. I’m so excited to see how it turns out!
Honest Pot Bee!
A great give-away and with a bright sparkly contrast, I can see something totally stunning with those B&W’s.
Ive lost my sparkle this month Molli Sparkles. Maybe i need a fabric pick me up x jammed my finger in a wardrobe door . Sad face
Well what a special treat. I am part of the Honey Pot bee and I have made all my blocks up to date. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
