Tu-la-la!
When it comes to out of print Tula Pink fabric, it’s all about the Benjamins, baby! I definitely fall into the camp of free trade capitalism: sell what you want, for whatever the market will bear. You won’t find any guilt trips circling around me, as I’ve had enough of those to last a lifetime. So I want to take this small opportunity to thank everyone who participated in, or shared the details of my recent Tula Pink destash sale to benefit the Grandma Sparkles Relief Fund. There were nearly twenty global purchasers, and the average sale price was $110 USD. The cheapest fabric went for $24 / yard (a fat quarter from Acacia), and the most expensive went for $171.43 / yard (1.75 yards of Parisville cameos). The whole event surprised the hell out of me, but who am I stand in the way of Tula fans and their fabric!? The best news of all, is that after deducting Paypal fees and shipping charges, I raised $2,087.41 USD ($2,800 AUD) for the Grandma Sparkles Relief Fund! This will now be on its way to Grandma Sparkles, and I know she’ll be tickled [Tula] Pink!
That’s awesome!
That is so awesome! <3
Amazing that folks are really that crazy about having certain fabrics. Although if I won the lottery . . . .
