Sunday Stash #179 – Basically
Not every Sunday Stash can be full of unicorns and rainbows. Sad, but true. This week’s addition is a basic micro-dot from A Day In the Country that I picked up from my LQS, The Remnant Warehouse. I went in to find some practice fabric for my Juki TL-2200 QVP, and got this, as well as some hot pink solid that is currently rolled up on the frame. A Day In the Country fabrics generally have a tighter weave than fabrics from Moda, Free Spirit, etc., and I wanted to see how it compared to them when quilting. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to quilt with it yet. As soon as it makes its way onto the frame, I’ll let you know my verdict. I keep warning Mr. Sparkles that I’m going to need to expand the frame to it’s full 10′ version, right into our dining / living room. He keeps giving me awkward silences combined with eye rolls. I just can’t figure out what he’s trying to communicate to me!

Yes, Molli, but where would the star be if she didn’t have the chorus behind her? It is nice to see people use basics other than white and grey.
