Sunday Stash #165 – Make My Peacock Sparkle
Well Happy Valentine’s Day lovers! Hopefully your other halves forewent the flowers and delivered a bouquet of red and pink fabrics instead? No? Single? Deadbeat? Well, gather round then because do I have a treat for you! I finally have my very own Robot Mom Sews #robotmomsanimalpinbowl. (That’s Robot Moms Animal Pin Bowl for those that can’t read hash tag). Not long ago one of the Glitterati on Instagram alerted me to these divine magnetic pin bowls being created by Robot Mom, Kim. Basically, they’re fully customisable with nearly every colour and animal / figurine combination available. Oh, and see that little special something at the base of the pin bowl, yeah, all that sparkle really reeled me in!
The full challenge was deciding how to customise the one for Molli B. Sparkles. I bet you thought I would choose a unicorn. But Glitterati, there are so many bloody unicorns out there now, they are certainly no longer an endangered species. Be it right, or be it wrong, everyone thinks they’re a unicorn. (Truth tea: a horse with a horn does not a unicorn make). Regardless, a unicorn would have still been fabulous, but I knew I needed to go back to my spirit animal roots. That meant only one thing: a peacock.
I needed a little sparkle on my peacock, y’all! Sigh … and it feels sooo good! It’s not itchy at all. And royal blue, because this peacock is fit for a king, ow! I want you also to know that Robot Mom Kim was so much fun to work with, and I know she could make your own animal pin bowl dreams come true. She is a mama of two who loves sewing, painting and crafting anything, anytime. Just not simultaneously! She lives in the US with her two Robot children, Robot husband, and a snorty pug. You can check her on on Instagram (robotmomsews) or her Etsy Shop to get your own one-of-a-kind Animal Pin Bowl! (Just don’t steal my combo!)
By the way, this wasn’t a freebie, so my opinions are fully my own. As if they’d every be anything else! Ha!

Gorgeous pin bowl though, the lady has skills!
Love the pin bowls…I may need one and I’m thinking Elephant!! Thanks for sharing and for the hook up with Robot Mom Sews!
You talk enough about peacocks in your writing that I thought it was you through and through. 🙂
Bring on the sparkle! Cute pin bowl and it’s totally you! Happy Valentine’s.
That is the best pin bowel I have ever seen! I will have to check her out and ponder the question what is Tish’s spirit animal…hmmm? I may never sleep again till I figure it out 🙂
Great pin bowl but magnetic ones can’t go anywhere near my computerised machine :/
The pin bowl is super awesome!
