Sunday Stash #139 – Liberty Bundles of Love – Part 3 of 3 – Giveaway
How about a little fabric drama today!? It includes a giveaway, so I think you’ll be more than happy to give me a little ‘tude! For the past few weeks I’ve been showing off some Liberty bundles with some hints on how to win your own by checking out The Strawberry Thief. I put this latest bundle together thinking about Fantasia, carnival nights, and American Bandstand. I can take inspiration from just about anywhere, mmmkay!!! I really want a shirt made from those paisley fireworks in the night sky! Imagine combining these with a rich, deep noir (or even mahogany!) and watch their colours jump out of your quilt. Drama, indeed!
Oh, but then there is this, may be my favourite Liberty bundle ever. If you were to give it a glance you’d be like, “Yeah, it’s some blue fabric.” It’s only when you look closer that you see patchwork, snow covered mountains, jungle acid, the blue lagoon, and modernist art. It’s really quite subversive in its representation, and takes the tone on tone aesthetic to a different place. This ain’t your granny’s Liberty; this is really for the astute fabric lover who wants to push the boundaries of pattern-play. It sucks you in and demands your attention for further investigation, and isn’t that what you want more than anything when your create?
Okay, here’s where the fun begins! I’ve been feeling particularly feisty this week (blame Kazaky), which means I’m gonna go pretty crazy with this giveaway. This is what you gotta do… pick your favourite Liberty bundle from Sunday Stash #137, #138, or right here at #139, then comment on this post with the name of one of the fabrics. You can find just about all of their names from The Strawberry Thief website (or sign up for their newsletter, or even buy some of your own–giveaway be damned!) So that’s it, pick a bundle, name a fabric, comment on this post, and that entire bundle could be yours! Oh, alright, and those of you linking up this week can leave a second comment for a second chance to win! Ow! This giveaway is open for all, (tell your friends) and it could very well change your fabric life.
The top bundle is my fave I think, I love me some Paisley but the Volcanism B reminds me of a Kaffe Print which I always have room for….only recently have I drunk the Liberty Kool Aid
My fave is the top bundle from this post, especially Baby Rainbow. Love Liberty!
Coo, my first Sunday Stash link-up and I time it just right for a give-away – that's all my luck used up right there, lol! š Although if I do get luckier still, then I'm very drawn to the blue bundle shown in the second Liberty post, love those sophisticated blues and browns with pops of colour from the floral print and the Virtual Light pixelly goodness.
I love Otilia and Manning, great ones!
I love the blue bundle from Sunday stash #138. It's the one that includes virtual light A and Karter B. I've never used Liberty fabrics, so I'd love the chance to win some.
My fave is the second bundle, specially Sam. Great for a modern quilt! Would love to have Otilia too!
Your favorite, the blue bundle. Mountain fabric – LIBERTY ART FABRIC Manning C. 24Tangent@gmail.com
I'm still blown away at the wide variety of designs in Liberty! My favorite was from #138, Virtual Light A. I love the little pixelated squares!
I really like the top bundle from #138 and the Karter B is super fun. š
So many lovelies, I can't wait to see where your ever expanding Liberty stash ends up. I'm so very tempted by that final bundle of blues, I can just see it paired up with some vibrant oakshotts buti would have to say that favourite remains the very first bundle with it lush rich colours. Apple is one of my favourite prints and I love how it mixes so beautifully with Lady Paisley.
I love your #138 bundle, and Karter B is my favorite because it kind of looks like flowers in a field as your dad speeds along the highway way too fast. I also love Ranga A, it reminds me of German Expressionism films (check out The Cabinet of Dr Caligari if you want to see Ranga A's film twin). I also like Macleod A and B, if you've read the book Love in the Time of Cholera, I am pretty sure this is what the Florentino threw up after he ate all those flowers and perfume (I know that sounds bad but I mean it in a good way!). I also love Virtual Light A, if Piet Mondrian was a quilter, this is the Liberty fabric he would buy.
I must disagree with you on one point though, Liberty tiny floral patterns are great, and I am pretty sure you could bend them to look modern in the right quilt!
Oh I love love love Liberty fabric. Have wanted some since I first encountered Paula Nadelstern and her gorgeous kaleidoscope fabrics. My favourite bundle is the second one from #137, several would totally work for kaleidoscopes and I love that central floral. "Sunrise over the city" indeed. Growing Fonder C is a favourite in that bundle.
Here is my second comment for the giveaway, since I linked up this week…I do love the Maddock as well…okay, I just love anything Liberty makes, let's be honest. Thanks so much for the chance. š Happy for you two as well. My brother and his husband have been married 11 years. Some people need to just get over themselves…
Oh the blues! Love the Sam C and Mayrose C but can't figure out what that amazing one in the middle is!

I love the first bundle #137. The Tresco print one of my favorites. Thanks for much for the giveaway!
This is my second comment for linking up. I just got some Liberty scraps in the mail and was blown away with all the loveliness now sitting on my cutting table!
Stash pile #137 had me swoony. I love Lady Paisley A.
The sunrise over the city bundle appeals to me; especially the Lucy Daisy print.
Molli, I can just see you in a shirt made from those paisley fireworks… it is so you.
My favorite bundle is the first one in Sunday Stash #138 . I just absolutely love the three prints on the right… the multi-color thin stripe.. the multi-color swirl of drops.. and the tone on tone blue. All of these fabrics in this bundle are so masculine and would make one fantastic project.
Since you want us to name a fabric in the bundle.. the bundle I was referring to contains the fabric.. A Boy Dreams A.
Pardon me while I wipe up the drool from my keyboard. š I was going to pick Baby Rainbow A from # 139, but itās not on the website. š So I will go with Poppy & Daisy J from #138. 50 lashes with a wet noodle for giving us such hard choices!!
MMM Liberty….My favourite is #138 particularly the houses – Ranga D š
Has someone already coined the term "fabric porn"? Because flipping through these glorious prints gets me all hot and bothered. That Sam C in the last bundle is delicious!
I'm choosing bundle #139. I love these fabricsl, especially Manning C. Thanks for introducing me to Molli Sparkles and The Strawberry Thief!

I really love the top bundle in Stash #137 – that Magenta "Lady Paisley 1" just jumped right out and grabbed me!
Thank you for opening my eyes to the non-floral possibilities of Liberty fabrics! My favorite bundle is the second one from #139, 'Manning C' mountains. Stunning!
I love Liberty, both the granny stuff and also the more modern non floral. I fancy stash #139 and my favouriet is the grey black mountain, Manning C
Gorgeous bundles and my favourite is the second one.. I would have to say that the second one from the left is my favourite print but I'm not sure what it is called.
After much searching…. I found the name of my fabric to be Otiliaš
Someone broke the interwebs, the Strawberry Thief wont' load! Boo!!!
If only I could find the name of the fabric I like best in bundle one in #138 (the middle one) yummy!
I also like the 'blues', it reflects my mood at the moment as I battle a flu on the tale end of our first Hobartian winter… *sigh*
I'll have to go with 137, please!
I linked up my birthday haul!
My favorite bundle is #138 and my fave fabric is Tana Lawn Karter A. It goes so,well with the fabric designed by the alcoholic painter! I need to do some shopping at Strawberry Thief for some Liberty fabrics, for sure!
Love #139, and really like sam C
Trying again!! – I like the second bundle from post 138 – especially the houses Ranga (which I suspect is Ranga A, but Strawberry Thief are only showing Ranga D now). Must be good choice then.
Favourite would have to be Stash #138 š
Linked up showing my vacation purchases š
I love #139, so pretty. Honestly though I love all fabric.
I like Mayrose C and my favourite bundle is the second one in #138.

Molli,
I like the one on the far left in the third bundle of #139 I believe it's called Melly A. It's the Jackson Pollock-y speckled one! It drew my eye in immediately and of course was one of the most difficult pattern names to find because it was on the very last page of the last place I could look! Lol! I love the way it can segue between primary colors and break up solids ever so subtly but with a kablam and a pow! It would make an awesome infinity scarf with a really cool fringe as well!
I love Maddock A in bundle the second bundle in #137!
I love the second bundle in #137 because hello?!! Lucy Daisy! It was meant to be š
I linked up my goodies š
I like the top bundle on #138 – especially Karter B
I like the bundle from #138. My favorite fabric has to be Karter B. Thanks for the chance to win!
I love your feisty blue bundle as well! Sam C is delightful! I love all Liberty! I live in Canada, my sister and mom were just on a trip to London and were able to include a visit to THE store while they were there. They took a picture, and bought me a Liberty print padded clothes hanger. š Almost as good as being there myself? LOL.
I like bundle #137, part 1 of 3 and my favourite is Growing Fonder C.
I like bundle 139 on this post. My favorite piece is the Reuben Nouveau but I can't find the color you are showing on the Strawberry Thief's website. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
This was a very hard one to do as I kept getting distracted by all the lovely colors, patterns, and textures. I like the first bundle from #138 especially Macleod A really speaks to me. I have never used a Liberty fabric; call me sheltered or pathetic but I prefer ignorant. Karen kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com
Since I linked up a photo of my newest stash additions, here's my second chance comment. The second bundle from this post containing Manning C is perfect (I've been looking for a water theme fabric) but then again most of the other fabrics from all the bundles are too. Karen kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com
I love the blues, and I love Volcanism B in today's bundle.
I'm really intrigued by the first bundle in #138, especially the A Boy Dreams A print. Sneaky and so cool!
Hi Molli. I feel like I have just gorged on eye candy. What fun it was visiting the Strawberry Thief. I love the abstract fabric in your second bundle in #139, especially the dramatic Manning C. Thanks for this creative giveaway!
how inspirational is that ! who knows maybe its my lucky day
Love the blues in Otilia A. It looks like what you would see scuba diving in a tide pool.
Ooo, nearly missed the chance to get a second entry! I linked up, so this is another vote for those wonderful blues with the Virtual Light pizel dots. š (Oh, and because I rudely forgot to mention in my last comment, huge congrats on your engagement!)
I like bundle #138. The Karter A is just lovely. š

That manning c! Those mountains! My favorite bundle is easily your favorite as well š

I took a look at the Strawberry Thief site … love those Liberties but I especially love the Polly Genevieve C print!! Makes me want to start a Monet style water lilly quilt on the spot!
Apple C, turquoise, so lovely and it turns out to be apple shapes!
I love the first bundle! Then I went window shopping and love Ciara C! There was also Charles S…..so many to chose from! Thanks for the chance to win!
I really like #139 Bundle the first box. The colors of the fabrics are so bright and vibrant. I'm with you, I think the Paisley Fireworks would make a beautiful blouse.
