#NGAQB Hash Tag Tutorial
Update: Before you begin this tutorial, ensure your quarter inch seam is accurate. If it is not, your block will be too small. You might also consider sewing with a scant quarter inch seam. A test block is always a mahvelous idea, dahling!
Planted firmly between the cheeky songs of Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda and Jennifer Lopez’s Booty, it looks like 2014 is gonna end up being the year of the ass. It’s a good thing too, because I am behind! I haven’t managed to complete my October or November NGAQB (No Girls Allowed Quilt Bee) blocks, and they are such mahvelous selections. Thankfully, December is all about me–when is it not–and I’ve instructed the guys to make me tone on tone hash tag blocks.
This quilt is going to be a slice of rainbow heaven! I’ll fill you in on all of the details about my design intentions and rationale when the blocks start rolling in, and for now I’ll show you the tutorial I made for the guys. Oh and by the way, Grandma Sparkles always told me not to, but I’ll gladly accept blocks from strangers!
Molli, you "crack" me up. Thanks, Mary in Boston😊

Molli, I am so glad I found your cheeky self! I think you and I are going to be good friends…I love a smart ass! You are hilarious…and talented, too. A fun combination indeed.

HI – I can't wait to help you out. Sorry to hear about your situation and I'm sure it was very scary. Be well! Cheers.
Hi MS,
where do I send my blocks?
Please head to the Sewing for Sydney FAQ page for all the details. Thanks for your help! http://www.mollisparkles.com/2014/12/sewing-for-sydney-faq.html
21 blocks will be on their way to you Monday, this is a beautiful gesture by you and all who have helped in any way at all.
Just popped back to see how many blocks you've now raised, amazing at 596 on Boxing Day, you're going to be so busy organising these quilts to be made. What a wonderful, wonderful thing to do.
10 more on their way to you today from wellington point, Qld
Hugs from Jenny & Emma

Wow another one to add to the to do list. Love its moderness and colour.
Thanks for sharing Mollie. Trish
Ps i loved the quilts at first sight so sent first message. Went back and read story. Well done for getting them out of the cupboard and directing them to a great place. We are seeing more and more women and children being homeless due to DV so i think your choice great. Big Heart in a kind man. P.s we will keep that secret.
