Sunday Stash #100 – Sensuede
Remember a few weeks ago when I found that Pop-Up Fabric Shop around the corner and I bought this delicious piece of faux ostrich leather? Well, um, I may have accidentally found it again! This time I splurged a bit harder on a metre of Sensuede in this sensual teal colour. (Sensuede is a hard-wearing, synthetic fabric with the texture of suede.) It will be perfect for cushions, maybe even paired up with that dark red leather? The red and green tones will give some complimentary sophistication for sure. This metre was only $30, and when I consider quilting cotton in Australia is $24, I had to get me some of that!
Now, I know this is Sunday Stash #100 (yippee!) and normally there would totally be a giveaway to celebrate. I’m just a bit behind the eight ball at the moment, for obvious reasons, so I’ll be organising something worthy of three digits in the near future. I’m sure y’all have a backlog of stashed items to share, so if you want to linkup multiple posts from the past two weeks, you just go right ahead!
Congratulations – 100 must = a good amount of fabric stashed! I was planning to link up last week and then a small child and a hospital stay stopped that, good to be back this week.
Congrats on your fabric Century!
Um, yes please. This is yummy!
Wow, that was fast! Congrats on the milestone. That's lots of fabric stashing and ogling. ;o)
Mmmm… the colour on this sensuede is gorgeous.
What a sensual piece of Sensuede Mollie. That color is magnificent and remind me of a peacock. Can't wait to see the finished product. Stay well, oh glittery one.
What a lovely colour indeed. It would be lovely with some triple stitch topstitching I think.
