Cushion for Christmas & Daughters
Since the blog hop concludes today, and there are serious prizes to be won for linking up your own projects, I don’t want you to miss a beat! Check out the full roster of fabulousness at the end of this post, quickly whip your hair back and forth, and then whip out your own Cushion for Christmas!
And can you believe what that saucy, little minx said to me about five strings into this cushion? “Well, and for my third cushion I think it should be like this, but orange.” Well, yes, ma’am! Apparently I now make cushions on demand. At least I’ve taught her not to be shy about asking for what she wants, and well, when it comes to me, we all know she’s gonna get it! (I think she might know that, too).
Her favourite fabric in the entire pillow? “The white glittery one.” Oh, I’ve taught you so, so well.

Turned out pretty. I have the same "problem" as I only made one for two girls. What was I thinking?
What a gorgeous creation. Love the colour selection!
Biggest compliment is when you get asked for a second cushion (and a third by the sounds of it!)!
Love it – might even find time to whip one up for my teenage niece for Christmas
I'm so lazy, I wish there was a "Like" button or even better a "love" button! Anyway, love this one too, think you should make one in each colour of the rainbow, actually, I dare you 😉
Don't think for a second I haven't been contemplating it!
Well then I DOUBLE DARE you 😉
Sounds like its time for a cushion making apprenticeship to me!
LOVE your pillow! I really need to make something like this as a hostess gift ~ like today! Wish me luck 🙂
Love everything about your pillow! Thinking I should get busy and make a couple of them.
And then you'll make a fourth, and then a fifth….
Seriously love! And it's so happy! I love all the white.
Love, love, love it!! Maybe this is the patteen and idea I should use to make some pillows for my nieces!! Thanks for sharing!!
Fabulous stuff as always Ms Sparkle.
I understand, I have four daughters! Thanks for the paperless tute, I'm pinning now.
Simply fabulous, I love the Metallics in fabrics, am collecting scrap string pieces since your first cushion to do one, this one is just heavenly
http://kiwiquilts.blogspot.co.nz/ I did it, today I finished my first Molli Sparkles Inspired cushion, check it out , love ya 🙂
The more sparkle, the better, right? Our daughters are now 35 (36??) and yeah, they still get whatever they ask for…I'm pretty sure it'll be that way till we die…>sigh< Sure wish it worked that way with OUR parents…
Love how your stitching boxed those puppies up!
Love this colour! Thanks so much for joining in with me!
Ahhh, a glitter off the old sparkle that kid! Yes please to a rainbow of cushions!
Another beautiful pillow, and a very lucky daughter! I made my first pillow recently, and they are a bit addicting. I haven't tried your tutorial yet, but will give it a go soon. Thanks!
Gorgeous pillow! I can see why she snatched it. And thanks for the tutorial!
Beautiful cushion!
Love those colors! It's a very pretty cushion.
LOL! You are teaching her well! Beautiful pillow, Josh!
Not as daft as she looks, eh? ;o) Will look forward to the orange version…
Just gorgeous! Love the aqua and white!
Stunning!!!!! 'Nuff said.
Love your fabric and color choices. Beautiful cushion.
Do you need another daughter? I would love one in red… and perhaps one in aqua too. Definitely with sparkle fabric included! You've done a fabulous job!
What a beautiful pillow and I love all of the fabrics you used
