Blogger’s Quilt Festival – Fall 2013 – Quilt Photographer – Bartering for Flowers
Me again! The second quilt I’m entering into the fabulous online quilt show extravaganza from Amy’s Creative Side is Bartering for Flowers. I’m entering it into the Quilt Photographer category, because while the quilt is not representative of my style, I adore the photo of it. As soon as I had captured it with the setting sun, it felt like flowers cascading over the ancient roots of this fig tree. It’s one of my absolute favourite quilt photos! This quilt is a Disappearing Nine Patch, and is wonderfully appreciated by my mother-in-law.
