Sunday Stash #28 – Special Deliveries
Y’all are some generous divas out there in Quilt-Land! After my trip last week to the Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair I sent a call out to the Oracle of Quilt Ladies on Facebook to see if any of them had Art Gallery Oval Elements in orange or blue–two colours I’d yet to acquire. Ms. Emma gave me a holla and said she could send this papaya quarter yard over straight away. Well, bless my hot pink leg warmers, she is too much! I’ve put it in the Thermomix and am hoping it spits out 3″ squares. It does that, right?
Oh, but it gets better! Alyce over at Blossom Heart Quilts (if you have any interest in Kate Spain at all, you should venture over to BHQ for the full skinny!) sent me a photo on the IG of this lovely stained glass print. She said it reminded her of me and asked if I’d like it. Not one to turn down fabric, I of course, graciously accepted. What kind of fool would I be otherwise? Then I thought … hmm, stained glass: it’s colourful, crafty, complex, sparkly … much like me! You know me so well, Alyce!
Air kisses to both cheeks for Emma and Alyce!
you have a thermi? Hope so, we can be awesome together. Love that stained glass window fabric.
It's going to be some oval awesomeness with all those colors you got.
Loving that stained glass.
I believe Thermomix's do basically everything….if only it were around when I was pregnant and giving birth. Would have saved me much time and effort me thinks! Love your stash additions, love that they were gifted even more!
Fun friends and fun fabric. What more could you ask for? Nice!
Fabric friends are the best kind! I would love to see a pic of all your oval elements fabrics together – a rainbow of awesomeness! (Do you really have hot pink leg warmers? Silly question – of course you do!!) Enjoy your Sunday!
Yay, glad it arrived!!
I love that the QCA girls came through for you. Made me chuckle again with your post.
Totally jealous of that Thermomix!
