Sunday Stash #10 – Leftover Christmas Goodies
Hey there, my sparkly faves! I received both of these Christmas goodies before the holidays, and they should have been featured in Sunday Stash #09, but I left them out so I could revisit them like a good pile of Christmas dinner leftovers. Unlike your aunt’s dried out stuffing, these fabric bits are still just as fresh as they were when they landed on my plate.
The first set is a group of four fat quarters I received as part of a Rainbow Charm Squares & More group lucky dip Christmas exchange. Somehow, three of them have glittery sparkles on the fabric, and the other is yellow (featuring the ever fabulous Spongebob Square Pants). It’s like the Gods knew their intended recipient! I especially like the citron and aqua fabric and could see a whole quilt utilising those colours! Inspiration, much!
Next, the lovely Emily sent these surprise fat quarters to me as she knows I have an irrational passion for yellow at the moment. I’m slowly beating it out with the introduction of aquas and pinks, but still, great additions to the Fabrics Anonymous stash. Thanks Emily!
Next week I have a whole slew of aquas to show off that I had purchased to make the Carpenter’s Wheel Star block for the same Ms. Emily. You’ve already seen the finished block, but I know you want to see the fabric close up! Right? Right?
Linking up with Fiona at Finding Fifth Audrey at Hot Pink Quilts who is guest hosting this week’s Sunday Stash-a-thon! You should do the same.
Ooh! Yes, I do love your sparkly butterfly print too! Great minds and all….
Here is where I admit that I too have a soft spot for a good daisy yellow! So pleased you like 😉
Ooh a citron and aqua quilt sounds divine!
Fab new additions to the stash!
You better believe I want to see the aqua! As for this week's offerings, I think I like the all yellow the best! So awesome!
Thanks for linking up! It was fun! 🙂
