WiP Wednesday #04 – Election Edition
So Obama was re-elected, I think we can all gather where I stand on that! Like him, we’re all a work in progress! But let me tell you, there was a glitter party up in here!
I’m using the Blogger app for the first time, so this post may have to be readjusted, but I’ve attached some pictures of the pinwheel quilt I’m working on. It’s made from old shirts and navy homespun. I do love a good HST unit! Plus, it’s in blue so maybe I should send it to Obama in celebration of a Democratic win. I want to see him waving it high at the next Presidential speech.
Can you even imagine?
The audience gasps, “That quilt is divine?! Where ever did he get it?”
Obama to the audience: “I have to give a shout out to my boo down under in Sydney for sending me this dope pinwheel quilt. You really do sparkle, Molli!”
The crowd goes wild, and I die.
Linking up with Freshly Pieced:
I love the looks of this so far. I am trying to work out what to do for some quilts for my now grown sons, this sort of color palette and the stripes would work great!
I love shirt quilts and also admire Obama. Thumbs up

Can't wait to see more of this
Whaaaat? no pink? sensational cutting…its going to look very striking.
