WiP Wednesday 02
So I know this is technically Work in Progress Wednesday, and I should be showing off all the fabulousness that occurred to the 8″ patchwork blocks, but it is a potential present for someone and I don’t want them to see, and thus ruin my surprise. And you know I love a good surprise! But let me tell you, I made considerable progress, completing about 75 blocks. What I thought was going to be modestly sized could quite easily turn into something larger. It’s definitely a grower!
So to make up for it, I thought I would share a quick design I created, that is a potential future work in progress. Technically, I haven’t started sewing, but have started designing, so it still counts, right? Right? I said right? Damn right! Snap! It’s just based on half square triangles, but since I’m still new to the quilting world I figure this is in my capable hands. Fabrics are just an indication of the blue/teal and yellow combination I’ll be exploring. Time to say good bye to grey and yellow as we head into Spring in the land down under.
