Surgery It Is!
Ouch. More than two months worth of ouch, if we’re counting. Some of you may have seen my post on Instagram a few weeks ago, but I’ve been suffering from a ruptured disc in my lower back. No amount of fabric fondling has yet to make it better! I even tried rubbing some of that silky Liberty right on my tiny, little love handle to no avail! So Glitterati: I’m afraid fabric doesn’t fix everything! Instead, the time has come for me to have the neurosurgeon take his rotary cutter to my spine and then stitch me back up. I’ve been told this will fix what ails me, and I’ll be as good as new in no time. While I’m away, change that dull sewing machine needle, swap out your rotary blade, practice your scant quarter inch seam, and buy some fabric just for the hell of it! I’ll speak to you when I’m fully recovered. Keep on sparkling!

OUCH!!! Having had a prolapsed disc myself last year, I can definitely sympathise – when everything is agony, life becomes decidedly un-sparkly. All the best with the surgery!

A ruptured disc sounds extremely painful. Hope all goes well with the surgery.

Molli. Back pain is not fun. I hope you feel better soon and can take out your frustrations on your quilty stash soon.
Best of luck to you. Ask your dr if it’s ok to take Vit C and Zinc picolinate to aid the healing . I think it helped me after shoulder surgery.
