HA HA HA HA HA! I dare you to use the Thomas fabric for something real.

And I only discovered a few days ago that you hadn’t fallen off the face of the earth but merely that my feedly didn’t like your new blog address. So I had six weeks of fabulous to catch up on; merry Christmas to me indeed!

That is brilliant, because lets be honest there is some real rubbish given under the guise of Secret Santa. Thomas is banned in our house but bizarrely my little boy loves wolves so if I’d received that bundle I’m sure he would have made off with it immediately. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Trains, and wolves, and owls. Oh my! It’s always interesting to see what a non-fabric person picks out for a quilter. Merry Christmas, Molli!

  4. Hey, the back of some FMQing practice might just be perfect for those novelty prints. I’m glad there was more “win” than coal in the bundle!

  5. Lumps of coal, that’s a nice way to put it! I agree with Yvonne, those are perfect for practicing FMQ.

I do love the sparkle in the two FQ’s in the top picture. I can admit I’m a sucker for shinny things, especially in fabric. Several years ago, I somehow acquired (not by my picking) very similar Thomas fabric. Went great in quilted pot holders I found on ModaBakeShop. It was hidden on the inside 🙂
