Happy Mardi Gras!

There’s so much happening in my space that my head is going to explode and glitter will surely cover the world! I’m madly running around helping friends construct a truck for the Mardi Gras parade that Mr. Sparkles is driving. I’ll be sitting in the co-pilot seat in case he passes out and I need to take over. I’m also acting as the official photographer for the Free Gay & Happy group, so I’m trying to reignite all my photographic skills!
Just this morning I finished the front and back of my AMH Feathers Shimmer quilt, but I don’t have a finished picture yet because it is being rushed off to the long armer to meet a deadline. Believe me when I say that it looks fabulous though. As if anything else would suffice?!
I had a very official meeting with government officers yesterday concerning the delivery of the hashtag quilts so trust that things are still moving forward on that front. I’ve also got a special, high-profile partnership announcement coming up that will see me travelling to a nearby city in April. Keep your calendars clear for that one!
Holiday? What holiday!?
Keep your rainbows high and let the glitter fly! Happy Mardi Gras!

Happy Mardi Gras! I remember it wasn't so long ago that you had to make some scarves for mardi gras and you were desperate for advice. You've come a long way from there baby! Have a great time!

Your feathers quilt is awesome. Can't wait to see it quilted. You are such a bundle of good energy! Enjoy the parade.

  10. I love how the feathers turned out, and now want to get some of that shimmer fabric for myself. Darn it – I'm relatively un-materialistic in other areas of my life, but when it comes to actual material, I'm a damn gorgon! Have fun parading…and share some pictures if you would. We have 'em all the time in small town Texas (think lots of tractors, horses, steer-riding, and people drinking beer), and I've seen many in San Francisco and Berkeley (think outlandish costumes, nudity and fun/craziness), but I'd love to see an Aussie parade…

Love seeing you at Mardi Gras 🙂 Your feathers look amazing and I am no expert but I am looking for that unexpected different one that stands out from the rest. I have had a bottle of red and may not say this completely sober! After all it is the long weekend and I find myself watching Anchor Man on Tv with my teenage children! I think I should go to bed. Love you xxx Love your work 🙂
