I am an artist, y’all, through and through. From my dinosaur murals spanning the walls of my childhood home, to the Fabricaholics Anonymous type creations I make today, art burgeons inside of me. It’s taken many forms over the years; the previous and lingering being photography. I gained my Master of Fine Arts from the University of Sydney in 2007, but since then I haven’t much acted on it. While I still take photos, they often get relegated to Instagram, or buried deep in the hard drive abyss, or better yet, printed, then shoved in a box. So, since I have my own blog, I figured I might as well start showin’em off!
Welcome to Photography Friday! This won’t be every week (I’ve still got heaps of quilts to showcase, don’t you worry about that), but will hopefully be a stopgap of beauty between them. Sometimes they get a bit saucy–like me–so you have that to look forward to as well. But today, in keeping with the f-f-f- alliteration, the theme is flowers. Enjoy, my lovelies.
