Sunday Stash #55 – Magic Suitcase V2.0 Part 08 – Carnaby Street

Grandma Sparkle’s Magic Suitcase just keeps on giving! So much so, that I told Mr. Sparkles not to buy me any fabric for Christmas. I KNOW. Can you believe those words were uttered from my mouth? (Actually, hmm… maybe I can take those sentiments back…) These goodies all happened because of my obsession with Carnaby Street by Pat Bravo. This past year saw similar obsessions with Comma, and Notting Hill, and I promised twenty fourteen that they would get their turn.
Just to let y’all know I’ll be kinda sparse this week, so I hope each and every one of you have a sparkling holiday season! I’ll make sure to check back in by at least next Sunday though because it will be the last Sunday Stash at Fiona’s place before I lay out the welcome mat at mine!

I got four or five yards of each of these because I think they’ll make delicious backings!

Then these are all half yard cuts, but Squared Elements is so versatile, it might make it into other projects first!

I also found these two bits of Architextures in the outside pocket! Seriously, this Magic Suitcase was jam packed!

Oh, and I was so busy wrapping up my champagne kisses that I forgot to announce the winner of The Bitchy Stitcher’s Quilting Isn’t Funny giveaway! Go ahead and put me on the naughty list (it’s the best place to be, trust you me!) Now, who’s getting that signed copy of Quilting Isn’t Funny? It was number 33, MelliWo! Congratulations, and I’ll be in touch!

Linking up with Fiona at Finding Fifth for this week’s Sunday Stash-a-thon!

You should do the same.
Happy Holidays!

That wavy line print is going to make a fantastic quilt back. Here's hoping that Mr Sparkles buys you fabric even despite instructions otherwise.

  6. Those are going to be amazing backings. I love them both. Also, what WERE you thinking??? Telling Mr. Sparkles not to buy you any fabric?!?!? Fabric is like high heels….there is always room for more. Hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas and a sparkly New Year!

Lovely! I just recently had some Carnaby Street come in – love it so much more in person than I did seeing it online. The Squared Elements is such a great blender fabric.
