Sunday Stash #49 – A Hundred Thousand
My week in Japan has left me in an odd creative space. I desperately miss my sewing machine, and the creativity that it has afforded me over the past year and a half. So this week I decided to return to poetry–one of my earliest creative outlets.
To deconstruct my verse, I celebrated my 100,000th page view this week. This event has left me awestruck, and terrified at the same time. So without too much fanfare, leave a comment to enter to win this 1.5 metre bundle of Echino fabrics I picked up in Japan. International entries are always welcome.
Linking up with Fiona at Finding Fifth Lisa in Port Hope for this week’s Sunday Stash-a-thon! You should do the same.
Must watch Lost In Translation again.
Hot damn, pick me! Congrats on the big milestone but also for loving quilting and fabric so much. I love that you are part of this awesome community.
Congratulations!! Your blog is absolutely fantastic. I am so glad to have found it in recent months! That bundle is droolicious as well!
Gorgeous collection of fabrics – can't quite imagine that you're going to give it away 😀
Happy 100000!

Wow! Congrats on the views and resparking that creative poet inside!
You know I'm a fan! Thanks for bringing your special sparkle into the quilting blogosphere. I hope you get to return to your Juki soon, and I'm sure she misses you as much as you miss her. Thanks, Molli!
Congrats on your milestone! And that fabric is seriously too gorgeous!
when I need to be creative, I pick up a pen and/or pencil and start drawing on anything at hand – one of my best drawings is on a brown paper bag – I was at the airport on a 2 hour delay – surprising how many people will watch you draw – some day I will find a use for that drawing – or my kids will find it and wonder as they toss it aside – such is life.
I just rewatched Lost in Translation last night, by coincidence. Such a tender movie. If only they'd had quilting to comfort them – could have produced one hell of a quilt. Congrats to you – you deserve it as you clearly put a lot of thought into your blog. Mel. melanie99[at]gmail.com
Congratulations Joshua! Fabulous milestone! xx

Enjoy your blog…did you ever blogged a review on the Juki? I am thinking of getting one…
A hundred thousand. What a fantastic achievement. Here's to a hundred thousand more.
Fun fabric. I liked your poem and congrats on the sparkly milestone!
Wow! I am so impressed with your abilities. I could never write poetry. That is really cool. It has been my experience that so very many creative quilters are also creative in other ways as well. creativity is not limited to one particular genre. Thank you for all the great reasons to bring my eyes here to see you.
Hello! Wow 100,000, if I had a nickel for each view. That's a lot of fabric!
Lovely verse … don't freeze up, just imagine us all naked 🙂
Congratulations Molli! I wish I had more talent as a writer as this would be the perfect occasion for an anniversary haiku for you!
Whew. As I clicked over from Feedly, I crossed my fingers I wouldn't be faced with poems in the comments. I was going to give it the old college try, but I am relieved to see it is not necessary.
Congratulations on your 100,000th page view! There are so many things to like about your blog, and I imagine you will get to 200,000 very quickly. Now get back to your machine and sew! P.S. I don't have any of those Echinos. (rhyme!)
Congrats, Molli! I very much enjoy your brand of sparkle and fan-fare – thanks for sharing it! I hope you had a great trip!
Congrats on your bloggy milestone! Your blog is awesome.
I can't imagine being separated from my sewing machine, 4 days has been the most and then I took hand stitching with me! Glad you had a great trip (again!)

Happy anniversary! I was starting to think you'd got haiku fever, then I realised there were too many lines and things, so I crawled back into my poetry illiterate hole ;o)
