Blogiversary One – The Day Has Come
Here we are folks! Today is the day I celebrate my first blogiversary! What a year it has been! I finished nine quilts, numerous bee blocks, started works-in-progress, designs storming my brain, hosted a quilt along, written one hundred and seventy blog posts, created tutorials, made countless quilting friends, and have travelled the world and back all for the sake of this crazy thing we call quilting. Whew! Yes, that deserves some fireworks!
So it’s pretty much expected that you giveaway something on your blogiversary, right? I could give you fabric, and I know you’d love it. But, I’m gonna do you one better. I want to give you a piece of me! So if you want some of this, leave any sort of comment on this post. If you win, I’ll shake off some of my glitter, bottle it up, and send it anywhere in the world to you. Everyone needs a little Molli B. Sparkles in their life! (You have until Tuesday when I’ll announce the lyric post winner, the #MSBHQAL test block winner, and this, the blogiversary winner!)
I’ve posted this before, and you’ve probably seen it before, but it is worth repeating, especially on a day like today. You, my readers, give me faith, and energy to keep creating, keep writing, keep photographing, and keep workin’ it like I’m workin’ a pole. To you, I have to say a big giant, neon, glittery, sparkle-tastic thank you! Please know you are special because you are who you are, and that is good enough. Embrace you, because you’re the only you you’ve got.
Don’t let anyone ever dull your sparkle!
This about sums up what I feel like right now! The only way is up! Let’s go!
Year one: over and out.
