Sunday Stash #35 – An Invasion

I only have one fabric addition to share this week, but bless my twinkling stars, it’s a good one! Katy from The Littlest Thistle and I recently did an around the world fabric swap. I sent her some Winnie the Pooh fabric (featured here) and she went on a mission to find me some non-florally Liberty fabric.

I know she had to make great sacrifices to walk through the Liberty shop and inspect all those luscious fabrics. So thank you, Katy, for your diligence! This is the first Liberty fabric to invade my collection, and damn, it’s like a sexy dragon. Not only does it have scales, but it is flamin’!

Linking up with Fiona at Finding Fifth for this week’s Sunday Stash-a-thon!

You should do the same.

Liberty is so hot right now.

I don't know if you get ginger plants in Australia but that's what this fabric reminds me of. Tropical and lush, quite a gear shift for Liberty!

OMG, that is quite possibly the most delicious Liberty print I have ever seen.

    Beats Pooh fabric any day!

  4. Nice! Liberty has yet to invade my stash…someday

  5. Does it feel different? I wish I had somewhere around here to shop for Liberty!

  6. It's pretty nice (understatement)!! xx

Oh you know, I can make fabric shopping sacrifices for friends any day ;o)

  8. Hansel. So hot right now. It's a WALK OFF! (sorry about that. wonder if you know the reference. moving on.)

Once again, I am like "Yep. Exactly." with you and fabric opinions. Liberty does tend to be too small-flowery for my taste, but I recently acquired some as well because I needed to feel for myself what all the fuss was about.

No new fabric additions for me this week. But I have new stores to check out, so perhaps soon.

  9. What? Liberty make non floral prints? And i have some ginger plants in my Australian sub tropical garden.
