Sunday Stash #15 – Only the Beginning
As many of you know, my stash literally grew by about three thousand percent recently, and if you’re not in the know, wait until next Sunday, and you’ll soon see why. I literally can’t even process it all yet.
However, I don’t want to miss supporting Kristy over at QuietPlay Fiona at Finding Fifth (ugh, jetlag brain!) this week, so I’ll show off some lovelies I purchased about two weeks ago. These three additions are going to be combined with the fabrics from Sunday Stash #11 to make my MIL’s disappearing nine patch. Again, not my typical aesthetic, but I can totally get down with a houndstooth in just about any colour. So, I’ll roll.
Head’s up, there are some major posts happening here soon, so keep your eyes pealed. I’m talking fabric explosions, big time finishes, and giveaways. You can bet your pretty in pink heart on it.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go wade through my new piles of fabric.
Linking up with Fiona at Finding Fifth for this week’s Sunday Stash-a-thon! You should do the same.
Molly Ringwald called, she says hello.
I guesstimated that these fabrics must be for the MIL's quilt! Can't wait to see and hear more of your fabric explosion….I've just cleaned up after mine 🙂 Hola Molly!
Haha… it's all over my living room at the moment! Mr. Sparkles is away this week, so have a bit of freedom to turn the house into a craft palace! Isn't it true how things get messier before they get cleaner? 🙂
Yes, very pretty fabrics (even though I can see they are not you're style). I'd take some of that houndstooth for my stash! And how sweet of Ms. Ringwald to send her greetings too;)
I actually don't mind the floral print. I think it's all about finding the right project 🙂 Looking forward to seeing pics of the fabric explosion!
And what girl didn't want to be Molly Ringwald growing up? She has a book out that I may need to track down and read. In the words of record store owner Ilona "applause, applause, applause". I love then pink houndstooth too. See you next week if not before.
